I've been playing MMOs longer than I'd like to admit ("But how long?" You probably didn't ask? Since 1998. UO was my beginning. Sonoma Shard represented). In any case, the point is that having a multibutton mouse for games like this has been a thing for a while and can really change the game rules. I don't use these keys for anything other than these games and it doesn't really bother me. But when I need her, I need her. Now we are seeing more wireless mice for gaming, which is great! I move my laptop around the house, the cables get in the way. I would prefer my mouse to be wireless. But in fact, there was no wireless mouse with 12 side buttons. If I can find a mouse that meets this point, plus a few others, I'll throw away as much money as it takes to get it. Because while the M913 has it (and does it very well), it lacks a few small things that make me want to return it. So, good things: It's wireless. You really can't go wrong with the middle section of this mouse. It has 12 buttons on the side. The buttons are a bit tight but I'm sure it will get better with time. USB-C is used for charging. I really like it, I'd really like to see companies move to USB-C because it's cooler. Some people might not like a heavier mouse, but this thing doesn't leave the mat for me. Battery life. The battery life is 48 hours, but longer in Eco mode. Thats OK for me. I don't need a mouse that lasts 6 weeks on a single charge. Especially since in exchange for a 12-button wireless mouse like this one, you have to accept that it may have to be charged more often. Minor flaws: No tilt-and-click scroll wheel. It's very picky, but it's one of those things I'm used to. I really can't seem to do without it. DPI buttons cannot be remapped. So since there wasn't a tilt and click scroll wheel, I figured that was something I could work around! I don't really need more than 1 DPI setting anyway, so I can just remap those DPI toggle buttons for forward/backward. Except, oddly enough, you can't remap these buttons. Except these two DPI buttons, every other button of this mouse can be changed. This really pissed me off because everything about this mouse is great! I just wish it had a tilt scroll wheel (preferred), or at least let me remap the buttons I don't really need to something else I do.
