If you're taking notes, navigating, rough drawing, signing, etc. this is a great pen. It works as it should and won't break the bank. If you are an artist this may not be as professional as you would like. I don't know because I'm not an artist, but as good office equipment, it works great for me. It worked great with my 8th gen iPad and the battery life was great. I don't use it for hours, but so far I haven't had to interrupt my work due to low battery issues. I usually use it for short bursts of activity, sometimes more like a mouse than a drawing tool, but either way it worked great. If you're looking for an alternative to the Apple Store prices, this pen can do what you need at a much cheaper price.
