Full disclosure: I haven't hung them yet and here's why. They seem easy enough to hang up and I think the design and leather straps deliver what they promise. The problem is wood. This is the softest, most unfinished wood I've ever seen. It looks like a faded, dusty softwood plank you buy at a craft store. You could dent it with a decent fingernail. And it's not really a solid piece, one of mine has an almost invisible seam down the middle where they clearly sewed and pressed the two "pieces of wood" together to get the size needed for the shelf. I'm saying all this to say I'll keep mine because I'm so stubborn, but these are overpriced. You can do it yourself for $5 from Michael if you're a little smarter. Anyway, I'm going to treat my boards with tung oil to darken them, protect them, and make the texture nicer/less cheap. My only regret is not paying that much for those stupid shelves plus the cost of tung oil and my time.
