I use this device for a completely different purpose: it keeps my iPhone in the center console of the car when connected to Apple CarPlay. It's thick enough to hold the phone securely, but strong enough that the phone and case slide easily between the slots. I now have a place for my phone to connect to the system and my wife to charge her phone, as well as a place to keep hand sanitizer on the non-stick surface. I'm sure it would be a very good spoon holder too. 🤓
