The holding mechanism is tricky and from underneath invisible while installing. My Toyota dealership wanted $175 for the part alone,so I was determined to figure it out. Watch the online video to get an idea of how to uninstall the old visor. It was very helpful. The installation video,so so. You have to push the hinge/swivel end into the liner and from below it is by feel more than sight. It took several tries but I got it ! Hubby couldn’t and is still impressed I got it to work. It has been in place and moves fine after a month of fear.
