I can't say whether it's reliable or easy to clean at the moment, as I've just received mine. I'll be back to update my review after using it for a while. Here is a brief overview of the first impression. I have a 12 ounce Moonstone Traveler. I like the design of the bottle.(1) The big neck is a plus for me. I bought this bottle mainly to take a hot drink with me on the go. The large opening makes it easier to pour out the liquid. (2) 12 oz suits me best! I'm a small person and I don't want to carry a big bottle around with me. That is hard. I don't usually drink a lot of liquids on the go either, so I don't need a large bottle. 12 oz is the perfect size for me. (3) I like the texture on the surface of the bottle, it definitely helps grip the bottle. It's such a cute little bottle, I'll really hate myself if I fall on the floor and hurt her. Since my goal is to carry a hot beverage with me, I decided to do a quick test as soon as I received this bottle. I poured boiling water at 198.8F and let the bottle sit on the counter for 8 hours with the lid tightly closed. After 8 hours I opened the bottle and checked the temp, it was around 128F. Regarding the performance of keeping the liquid hot I would say everything is fine! I'm not going to consider 128F a hot liquid, but at least it's warm. And that after 8 hours, literally all day. I do notice the stainless steel lid getting warm, but it definitely doesn't burn my hand. I think it's heat loss through the lid. If in the future the company could make a lid that doesn't lose heat, that would be perfect! Overall I love this little bottle and can't wait to use it.
