Keeps the sun out for hats and caps

Considering this is a pretty cheap hat I have to say it's not that bad. I am not very fond of hats and have a lot of thick fluffy natural hair that is difficult to style for this hat. But I can get it and it stays. It is very comfortable and most importantly protects my eyes from the sun when I go for a walk. Basically that's what I needed. With this hat and these glasses I look like a secret agent! Some people might look cute in these hats. Not me. I look like a criminal. The soft part of the cap makes it the most comfortable. Some hats are more rigid and shaped. This one is very thin. The brim is the perfect length - stretching just enough to block the sun - and is subtly shaped to be more flattering on the face. CONS - I have to adjust the strap to tighten it a bit and there is nowhere to tuck the strap. I don't want to shorten it in case I need the length at some point. So, I have a piece of fabric that is sticking out and looks weird. I can tuck some of this into the cap band but there is still a small margin. It's embarrassing. I'm pretty sure it will only survive the gentlest wash. I plan on just rinsing everything and keeping the edges dry. I read a review that mentioned the adjustment buckle getting rusty. I will wait and see. If this lasts until the end of the summer, I'll be happy.
