Review on Pure Protein Complete Shakes Chocolate by Randy Robinson

I bought 3 packs of 4 (12 total) and when it arrived in a large bubble wrap box that wasn't big enough there were 2 packs (8 total) lying around the box and even the piece of cardboard that was supposed to hold 4 boxes together was torn which was suspicious because even with very poor delivery and handling the cardboard wouldn't have been torn so it seems it was torn from a previous buyer ! I kept it though and the first 2 boxes were fine and tasted pretty good. But by the 3rd pack when I started drinking I felt a bit and took 2 sips before changing my mind and throwing the rest of that box away. Too late! A few minutes later I felt something stuck just below my esophagus and it slowly moved into my stomach all night and I can still feel it in my stomach about 13 hours later! I've read several reports here on Revain that the lid of the box has sometimes been damaged, allowing air to enter. So, in the name of science, I went ahead and opened up the soda box to see how the lid was attached to the lid. Crate. It looks like the box looks like one of those baby fruit drinks where you stick a straw into a half-foil, but in the case of this box, the half-foil is about an inch in diameter and pops open when you twist the cap with the plastic saw teeth, and this cap should somehow be fixed and glued to the outside surface of the box with some kind of glue. This cap can also puncture the half-foil without twisting it if you press hard enough without noticing the seal. In my photo you can see how the half film is still hanging in the box. In short, this seal is definitely a weak link, but whether it ruined my last drink or not, I can't give this great tasting drink a high mark hit or miss! Also, my entire package was suspect as it was scattered over 4 packs and the box of 4 packs was so torn this is NOT the result of shipping or handling by the seller, but rather the result of handling by a previous buyer who left me feeling that it was part of several unwrapped 4 packs as the customer returned what was left of those 4 packs after not liking them for some reason and these returned unwrapped 4 packs were then resold!
