Sturdy straps and a lovely satin bow tie

I was afraid it would be cheap, both in terms of durability and looking like props in a costume closet, but it is Not. The straps are thick with good elasticity to give/tension without giving too much and last a long time. Solid metal clips with plastic teeth for gripping clothes without damaging them. They have a fold-down lever to tighten the clasp and provide enough grip so it doesn't come loose when moving. Cheap, doesn't look bad. The seam looks like it will stay intact for a long time. The bow tie is made of a very nice satin material and the adjustable neck strap is easy to hook on and easy to unbuckle for taking off. Use your fingers to tip the metal to allow the strap to go through. Luckily this only needs to be done once to find a comfortable strap length and then it stays in place. I bought these for a 5'7" skinny man so I can't tell how tall a person is, but I wouldn't say they would fit a very tall person as the shoulder straps don't have that much reach and width but they are perfect for an average height man.

Pros
  • Nice to wear
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
