Several cameras died in my old system last year (it was probably 10 years old). I've decided to update the whole thing. I'm so glad I did! The picture quality is improved so much. And I was able to reuse the old wiring from the old system, so I didn't have to run new wiring through the attic. I wish I had spent the extra $100 on an 8 camera system. The system is so user-friendly that you can easily switch the layout on the video screen, so having more cameras isn't overwhelming. I would give 5 stars but one of the cameras only showed night vision. even during the day, so I need to find out what the problem is. I hope this is easy to fix and doesn't happen with other cameras. UPDATE: The black and white issue seems to affect all cameras. I have to reset her food every few days. Easy to fix but not necessary
