We got it for the dog that weighs 50 pounds but, of course, it's been co-opted by the 90 pound dog, He really does like laying his head on the bolster sides and he can be found there most any time of day or night. The owners like it because the zipper around the sides is long enough so that it isn't difficult to put the cover off and on for laundering. Many manufacturers "cheap out" and put in short zippers that make it very difficult to put the cover back onto the foam core.Nice bed, nice maerials, and thick enough w/o being too thick.
