I get cold often and this might be a work blanket, but this is definitely a one person blanket. It's wide, maybe double or single. Multiple settings and safety measures to prevent fire. The blanket can be used without a cord. My daughter likes to use it because it's soft. Nice and warm and washable. Great seasonal blanket
