You have to decide which is more important: protection or portability, because in this case you have to choose between them. The other downside is that the design of the case makes pulling out the stand a little more awkward than without it, but that takes a bit of getting used to. Finally, the design of the body has the slight disadvantage that if you have/use a stylus, space is needed to stick the stylus to the tablet as it eats up the open space where the stylus would normally be pointed. You have to make do with that, but it's a bit annoying that they didn't take that into account in the design or at least made an elastic band or something.
