Review on SINGER ProSeries Retractable Measure Color by Denise Davis

Update: I just realized that the other side of the tape measure is in millimeters! helpful because it took me millimeters to buy the right ring size! I still love it and use it daily, it's holding up very well. If I had more money I would buy a hundred of these because I always lose something. I'm a bit obsessed with roulette. I feel like I always need one for anything. I have a vintage wood look that needs unwrapping, I have standard carpenter's measurements, I have fabric tape measures that won't retract and just wallow like a lazy snake. For tasks that don't require me to measure things for very long (where I need a tape measure that stays straight and doesn't move), this is my favorite. It's easy to manoeuvre, retracts VERY smoothly, is a beautiful pink color and is portable enough to carry around in my purse. I like that I can just pull out the tape measure when I need it quickly without flapping around - with a non-retractable tape measure I have to find both ends, make sure I have it on my right side etc etc etc which is a hassle . With that, I just pull it out knowing it starts at 0 inches and I can stop pulling when my other hand reaches the end of what I want to measure. then I press the button and the tape measure just slides back in, neatly. All these little things save me seconds, save me confusion and make my task fun. and it's cheap! Too bad I didn't get this many years ago and will be ordering more.
