Review on ☕ WACACO Pipamoka Portable Coffee Maker 10 fl oz - Single Serve Brewer, Vacuum Pressured & Insulated Travel Mug, Hand Powered, Filter Pressure Brewer - Stainless Steel Thermo Cup by Danielle Erickson

Pretty tasty press for a cup + thermos

This coffee press is very cool. I used to have a Stanley travel press/mug but my issue with this type of travel press is that the coffee still stays in the water and gets stronger over time. This nice little guy solves that problem. I did a test with crappy Folgers coffee and it tasted damn good. I had a tasting test from 3 other people and they said it was delicious. My main use for it was camping. I didn't want to get an aero press. It works very well and does its job. Be warned this is for one mug. Basically, you could add more water and soil, repeat the pressing process, and make more. But you need another thermos to empty when you brew. Everything (all accessories, tools) fits in one mug, the shape and size are very convenient. If you follow the instructions you shouldn't have any major spill problems. With mugs that have presses built in, I've found that overfilling will burn you if you try to press the press all the way down. I haven't tried these methods yet, but you can also do a cold press with this mug. and using less water/diff beans can make the espresso richer and richer. I would recommend this to those who only need a cup and love a rich, full-bodied coffee.
