The Razer Goliathus Chroma gaming mouse pad is a beautiful toy with a significant drawback - because of the hard coating, it rubs my palm pads! Price at the time of purchase: 3490, bought in the brand's online store. ✅ What you can’t refuse the company is the beauty of synchronously tuned backlighting through the Razer Synapse program. The body and keyboard glow in discord, but the mouse and pad are synchronized with each other, and it's just beautiful. ✅ I managed to test it on two mice, Mamba Elite and Deathadder Chroma Overwatch, both "native" (also Razer in terms of) and with optical sensors. The response to them is excellent, no delays and sticking, which can cost the victory in the online battle. ❌ Textured fabric surface is a fiasco. Complete and irreparable. The hard and embossed surface of the rug scratches the skin wildly - I rub a callus on the pad where the wrist passes into the hand. Moreover, it does not depend on the activity: I move the mouse both when I work and when I play. From constant friction from side to side, the skin first turns red, then itches. The first time I noticed this was a couple of days after the purchase, when it turned out to be a perfect gaming day off - with 10 hours of playing The Witcher without a break. But when I saw the area rubbed to the callus (!), I decided that the question was only in the time of the game. Subsequently, I began to notice that I rub even with a short use: now, for example, I’m writing a review for half an hour, and the pad is no longer the usual color, but much more pink. Because of this, I had to abandon the use of this rug, putting on top of it the very usual, never a gaming rug with a picture of a donor (in the end they didn’t take me as a donor, but they gave me the rug as a gift). For me, this rug is a non-stop toy that rubs the skin and is not worth it just to admire the synchronous lighting!
