Size chart is wrong. A true 5 inches above the kneecap is higher than the sleeve itself. For me (a medium sized woman) I measured 20 inches. It was hard for me to believe that I would be XL but I decided to trust the table. He came and he was MUCH big. It was loose and would never stay in place, and apparently with no compression. I went down to the medium and ordered again, I hope it works out. Measure either 3 inches above the knee or 2 sizes smaller!
