Accurate scale with some extra features Batteries drain quickly Interesting warnings

*** I have been very happy with this Detecto D190 7 in 1 Glass Personal Scale until recently - literally more than that a few minutes before. I was about to publish this review. I was really just looking for a simple scale but it seems more like a measurement of body fat, muscle mass, body water, bone mass and ideal calorie intake. I really don't care about any of that. I tried the smart scale before it worked with the app on my phone and I just didn't use the app much. It doesn't have an app so you have to go in and set everything up manually and fill in some details like height, gender, age, etc. It seemed easy to set up, so I started entering my age and so on by pressing the touch buttons. I didn't have time to finish because the word "Lo" appeared on the screen. According to the manual, this means the battery is dead. but how!? I've had this scale for a while but have only recently started using it regularly the past few days. Previously, it was mostly kept in a box for some time after the first test phase. I don't have any of the batteries he needs on hand and at this point I'm wondering if I even want to buy them since they run out so quickly. Beautiful design in white, silver and black. It looks pretty slick as advertised - a pretty standard size I'd say. I have nothing to complain about in that regard - nice looking thick glass. It seems reliable to me, but only time will tell. The display is very easy to read with bright white text. The main function is very easy to use. The scale turns on when you step on it. As for other features, the guide explains how to use them. So far I find it very accurate. Minimum weight 11 pounds and maximum weight 400 pounds. Powered by two 3V CR2032 batteries. Made in China. The result is inaccurate and the effect on the fetus is unknown.” "Do not use the scale on people with physical implants such as pacemakers, prostheses, contraceptives, metal plates or screws. These implants can cause the device to malfunction or cause inaccurate results. If in doubt, consult your doctor. I personally have nothing against this scale, except that the battery runs out quickly. It's beautiful and I'm sure a lot of people will love it. If I were to buy other scales, I'd rather spend less money on other scales that only have a basic weighing function because that's all I really need. If I want to use advanced features, I'd prefer something with an app for convenience; I did have a smart scale, but the batteries in them died out very quickly, just like here. Taking other scales, I think I'll just want the simplest one that can keep the batteries from draining too quickly instead. That being said, does anyone make a rechargeable scale!? Because that's what I would spend money on.
