I have this to keep my iPad so that I can watch reference photos while I paint. It is big enough to keep up with my easel. The bracket keeps the iPad secure, even if I hold it in parallel to the floor. I wish the pan head could be clamped with just one tilt adjuster and not three different thumbscrews for pan, tilt and pan, but it works. It is a very light plastic, but strong enough for my needs. It would be great to have a hook under your head to hang your sandbag on so it doesn't tip over if the iPad's angle is completely off-center.
