First of all this light is not designed for the 176 so it will not fit. I have attached some photos. There are two problems with this. The softbox does not attach as the edges of the 176 are smooth and there is nothing to hook onto. Also, when using the included cold shoe adapter, there is no space to mount a softbox. The only way to attach this to 176 is to use strong tape or sew something on to make it fit. Just by putting it on, it falls off again immediately, if it holds at all. I have both 176 and 160 so it wasn't a deal breaker for me but if I only had 176 I would return it. It only fits 160, although not too easily. The part of the fabric that comes in contact with the light doesn't hold up well, so it doesn't want to stick too well. Apart from that it works fine. It would have been better if it had been made specifically for the light - maybe with some snags - than made after the fact. Brand. As a softbox, it does a great job of making the light softer and more acceptable for filming.
