Had the original for 19 years, the one with the original analog TV channels. The new one doesn't work as TV is now digital. Waste. FM is heterogeneous with built-in retractable whip antennas. No attachments for external VHF antennas. But the internal AM antennas work well and include hooks for external AM antennas. What the hell? Sounds just like the old one, which is pretty good. The watch face backlight now has three modes instead of on or off. Big thing. Spend the extra money and get a canvas case as it's worth it and will protect your device. I wish I would have kept the old one if this radio dies, but I never thought about it. Being stupid is expensive.
