. But in this stamp carving set, the ink in the real ink stamps is TERRIBLE. The rest of the set is pretty good. I like carving tools and rubber blocks. They are all of decent quality and I was able to carve some nice stamps. I was able to carve intricate pieces with smaller tools and hollow out several large strips of rubber with larger linoleum tools. The stamps I made ended up with a good amount of detail. However, when I tried to ink my stamps onto a piece of paper or canvas using ink pads, the ink just didn't have enough good pigment to get a crisp image. image on any other surface. It's a shame because there are so many stamps in this set. I ended up using acrylic paint to paint the images onto the canvas (it worked well but I had to quickly wipe off the rubber). I'm glad I can use these tools. I will continue to use them to make more stamps.
