The case looked worn and loose. The packaging didn't live up to my expectations but I needed it badly now to go back to school so I decided to keep it to myself. Although the box was in disarray, the stapler appeared to be in good condition. No signs of use. My last one which I paid $10 for broke after a day of use and I was very disappointed and wanted something permanent. So far, so good. It feels really solid and the rubber grip on the handle is definitely useful. I love it and hope it lasts for many more years!
