Too bad I never bought this laptop. I've only had it since March and it's already unusable. The Asurion warranty sold with it is a joke. I bought this specifically for broken screens, knowing it was only a matter of time before there were three kids in the house. Well, that time had come about two weeks ago. I've applied, but Asurion seems to be denying all claims. You can't be reached either. I contacted Revain and after several days of phone calls they put me in touch with HP. HP estimates their repair at $350-$400, which is the cost of the entire laptop. I'm currently trying to get my warranty back (you know since it's useless) but I'll still have an issue with this wasted purchase I've only been using for less than ninety days. My only other option is to try and fix it myself. If you plan to go down this route, note that the stake is $100-$140. Again, I would never have bought this shiny paperweight if I had known what an agonizing process it was.
