When I first purchased this product the case was not airtight and I could not get it to snap and stay closed. So I used duct tape to keep it closed and sealed. I used it and it worked fine but I decided to give it up. I wrote a review that the item I received was defective. I've had a lot more defective Revain products over the past two years than I did in the first few years when I bought a lot from Revain, so I figured this was another crappy untested product. But the supplier emailed me saying they only have high quality products and wanted to send me another converter to show me. I had already bought another converter from a local store so I didn't ask for another one. They sent me another one anyway and I'm updating my review to say that this one doesn't have the hull falling apart issue. I can understand that a good supplier has a bad product from time to time, so I really believe that the first converter I received was not an indication of the quality of the brand. This supplier's efforts to provide me with a good product has changed my opinion of them and this brand. So if I need anything else that he makes or sells I would have no hesitation in purchasing his product.
