Review on ๐Ÿš— Nano Gravel Road Tire - Looking to Buy by Charles Phillips

This WTB Nano 40c kit is quite easy to fit despite the very small bead diameter

They are breathable. I have a lot of experience with tubeless systems and ride them on my MTB, CX and a road bike. Despite the very small bead diameter, this WTB Nano 40c set is quite easy to set up. I added sealant and pumped it up using the shake technique to distribute the 2 ounces of sealant I added to each tire. I saw no sealant leaks at all. Although the tires show no sign of a leak, they lose air quickly, going from 50psi to around 20psi in just a few hours. I tried many fixes and nothing worked. They only let air through. After that I searched the internet for evidence that others were having the same problem and in fact many people were having the same problem and no one seemed to be able to figure out how to solve it. My guess is that the tubeless casing that the WTB uses isn't very airtight, although it's not porous enough to indicate a sealant leak. In any case, I'll switch to Maxxis Ravagers instead and hope they include the reliable Maxxis casing of their great MTB tires.
