Great monitor. Bad USB-C.

After about a month of use everything was fine. That was until my USB-C cable kinked and snapped when I set the monitor to landscape mode. I've tried using my two Apple USB-C ports with the monitor to no avail. It seems Samsung either wants me to just use their USB-C cable or a cheap $10 cable. Anyhow, I'm just grateful I ordered a second monitor so use it side by side so I can get another cable. But that shouldn't have happened in the first place. For a monitor of this price I would expect the cable to be more durable and I expect Samsung to let me use the Apple USB-C cable with it.
