So I'm not a fan of having to buy items that require a hub but in this case it came with the purchase so I took a chance. These lights fit directly into an existing 5" or 6" mounting box and can either be plugged into a socket or screwed. I haven't connected them to the hub yet as I'm doing house renovations and it's free at the moment so no wifi. I just connected to them via Bluetooth, but I found it odd that in order to use BT I had to turn on location services first. Well, these lights give off a great bright white light and fade easily into different colors and levels of brightness. I've compared them to major lighting manufacturers and they're a lot cheaper than these other guys. I had some contractors working around the house so I put them on color change mode and they thought they hit a wire or something and went crazy lol. So far they're working great and I'm happy.
