Had to replace the original ball bracket for the mesh door closer that was installed in my van. The original was mounted on an aluminum plate that corroded over time. This new one is much more secure, with five bolts to hold it in place, and it appears to be stainless steel too, so corrosion shouldn't be an issue. So instead of just fixing the problem I had with the previous part, I was able to make a big improvement by installing this much better part.
