Review on πŸ”Œ Black ZAGG Messenger Folio Case and Bluetooth Keyboard for Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 by Dan Brickley

Revainrating 5 out of 5

great but tablet battery drains a bit faster as bluetooth is always on

I love this thing! I've only had it a day, but I'm thrilled. It fits my 8.0A tab perfectly and I can print on it with no problem. You have to make sure your wrists are well aligned or you'll strain your arms while typing. I had a full size 17 inch laptop that broke and didn't want to buy a new laptop yet because I'm saving up for a Surface Pro, so I made a compromise in using a Samsung tablet. But I'm a professional ghostwriter and nursing student (so I type thousands of words every day) and the touchscreen keyboard wasn't working. I searched Amazon for hours until I came across this case. I preferred it to the limited case because it has a built-in keyboard. I'm not disappointed at all. It's definitely a salvation. It's a bit thick, but I'm okay with that considering how comfortable it is (and it still is. The only issue is the battery life. I always leave my tablet in sleep mode and turn off all unnecessary features because the Battery life is more important to me (I hate being tethered to the wall.) With Bluetooth on, battery life is much shorter than without (by around 2 or 3 hours by my calculations). It's a compromise I can live with , but it is still unfavorable.
