Verdict: Great 2-line phone, ergonomics could be better

Verdict: Great 2-line phone, ergonomics could be better This is a great satellite receiver that works perfectly with the original base unit. The phone has a headphone jack for connecting a headset, which is not common on other two-line phones. The sound quality is loud and clear, and the phone's many functions are intuitive. The battery life is fantastic as I abuse my phones (this is used in a retail store). I've been on the phone to salespeople for over 3 hours a day with many shorter calls in the same day with no issues and the distance to base is great for my business. My biggest problem, which isn't that big. The problem is actually that the phone isn't very ergonomic; Difficult to balance between head and shoulder BUT I usually mitigate this by using speakerphone. The top three navigation buttons are black, matching the color of the case. In low light (especially not in my case) they can be hard to see. Also, they're small and can be a little hard to squeeze if you're working fast; If they were a little bigger and a different color it would make little difference for the better. Note that the LED notifies you of a "missed call" but in a 2-line system does not identify which line the call came on. That can be annoying. All in all, an excellent purchase as an additional satellite extension to an existing system.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • So far so good
