Bought a large one for my 29 lb Labradoodle. Fits well, just a little short. The jacket measures 17 inches and she is 21 inches. The ripstop is not waterproof on the top, but has a neoprene base that prevents water from entering. The main disadvantage is that the fleece lining on the legs and stomach extends to the hem and therefore absorbs moisture. When it rains, your feet get wet from the inside even when the cord is pulled out. If only the ripstop was lengthened an inch or two it would really help! The zipper on my jacket is heavy duty so they may have upgraded it. Overall I would highly recommend this for long haired dogs that would otherwise get wet in rain or sleet!
