We have 6 cats and occasionally raise a 7th. We use this food as a reward. (We serve Iams and Blue as regular dry food.) All of our cats love it and look forward to a few bites several times a day. With so many kitties, we needed a way to keep treat costs down! I don't know why Purina discontinued this food. (If you're looking for another one, be careful not to buy one that includes an "animal extract," which may include animal carcasses from an animal shelter. No, many states don't have laws against it!)
