Review on Hankook Ventus V12 evo 2 Summer Radial Tire Review: 255/40R19 93Y by Micha Chmielewski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

One of the best offers, glad I bought it.

I recently put it on the Polo Sedan as a replacement for regular "kirzaches" (I will write a separate review about Kama 129). I chose between them, Dunlop Sport 9000 and Pirelli Centurato P1. Dimension R15 195/55. I refused dunlop, because it was made in Thailand - I decided that certain quality risks could be associated with this (I would take it from Japan). With Pirelli, the same story, only our production. Summing up, I will say that I am very pleased with the rubber, I got what I wanted. BUT, now any choice is a compromise, and having received what I expected - I still do not understand what I sacrificed. (There may be problems with the cord - it is really soft, and it is not known what with wear resistance.) : The first euphoria has passed after installing these tires, I drove about 1 tkm, and I can more soberly evaluate the subject. Comfort remains at an excellent level of perception. Noises do not disturb, the unevenness of the coating is swallowed. For those who want to get comfort from rubber, first of all, I recommend putting a 60 profile, and it will generally be like on a cloud. Everyone is interested in the cons - so let's move on to them: soft cord. This is expressed in the discomfort of rolls in corners. The rubber holds the trajectory, there is no screeching (about 100 km / h at the entrance to the ring), the breaking of the cord is also not felt, but the car leans noticeably more (I know that this is how it should be - that it will either squeal or bend over.) This minus can be leveled by raising the pressure, because I now have 2.2, with at least 2.4 set from the factory. In terms of wear - it's hard to say, there are no visible changes, even with active driving.

Pros
  • Quiet, comfortable, soft - excellent braking in the dry (did not try it in the wet).
Cons
  • Haven't found it yet.
