I fell in love with this camera the moment I unpacked it. I think the ergonomics are excellent and I've never used a mirrorless camera to its full potential before and didn't know what it was until I got my hands on this. Pixel lovers might not like the 20-megapixel sensor, but the smoothness and quality of the portraits I received were amazing. In my opinion even better than my work 5D mk4. Eye AF is so magical that it makes portrait photography that much more creative. Camera features and working with it - 10/10. I record videos but never 4k videos due to additional upgrades for new computer hardware that I have to buy so 1080 works great for me. Another plus is that it has c-log, which 5D at work didn't have (c-log was rejected when we bought it without knowing if we'd need it, that was a mistake). So it's great to experiment with c-log. This is the perfect camera for me - a lightweight, ergonomic, high-performing portrait camera that can engage in video and learn. The BIGGEST and MOST TERRIBLE isn't just the overheating I've seen. so many reviews. Not that. I'm not recording 4k as above BUT after only 2 weeks of use (photos and 1080 video) the touchscreen went completely blank and never came on again. Never dropped, abused, lifted, or exposed to extreme weather or dust. Yes I checked if something is blocking the viewfinder sensor, yes I checked if I somehow turned off the screen in the settings tabs but no. It broke down just 2 weeks after I got my hands on it. I read 2 other reviews on B and H and here they had similar issues. I spent money to return the camera and am waiting for a refund. I'm giving this camera and Canon one more try and will buy a second one as soon as I get my money back. I've always thought of Canon cameras as workhorses and powerhouses so it's very, very disappointing to see this R6 fail in just 2 weeks. I don't know why the screen is the first to fail. and within 2 weeks. They've always had screens on the backs of their cameras, but this one doesn't work. I hope my next one won't be a dud.
