This wooden tray arrived quickly and undamaged. It was new in a box. Well packaged, it was not scratched or wrinkled during transport. The tray has no strange odors or odors to overcome. It has the expected light woody smell, but nothing harsh or weird. The tray has a smooth surface. No splinters or anything else gross to be seen. It is very well painted with very glossy black paint. The varnish is very glossy and resistant to liquids. It is not missing any paint stains on it, the color of the wood is not visible except where the company logo is engraved on the side of the tray. The tray is well made. When feeling and using there is no feeling of looseness. Nothing creaks or rattles. The handles are well cut and big enough to slip your fingers through. The dimensions of the tray are fully consistent with the description. We measured a 17 x 2 x 14 inch tray. This tray is large enough to be used as a breakfast tray or countertop decoration. We will be using this tray as a display item on our sales counter. If anything changes about this tablet I will update this review.
