Pros: $8 for a 6-foot DisplayPort HDMI cable The deluxe braided cable makes things a little less confusing when you're chasing cables. Gold-plated connectors for excellent conductivity and no corrosion. Disadvantages: no? Other thoughts: I bought a 4 foot HDMI to HDMI cable (Phillips "Premium" or something like that) for $10 (50% off, so $20 cable) because I needed one and the shipping couldn't wait (and for some reason it was the longest cheap cable I could find that day). They look and feel more expensive and are of better workmanship. The video quality is perfect, but I don't expect the quality of one cable to be noticeably different from another.
