Just what I need to connect a laptop with Displayport to an HDMI monitor. The cable is very high quality and exceeded all expectations. The picture and sound quality is indistinguishable from an HDMI-to-HDMI connection (I switch both inputs on this monitor). Excellent value for money and highly recommended.

Great item. It should be noted that this cable is directional - Display Port > HDMI. It's great for connecting a computer to a TV, but this cable won't work if you want to connect something like a streaming box to a computer monitor. This cable feels like a ball. prove. Wasted my time on this POS. It didn't work for what I wanted. It does not work for PC HDMI output to monitor display port input. It should be CLEARLY marked as ONE DIRECTION. Most users who need this cable will need it because !@#% Dell only provides DisplayPort inputs on their monitors. The only good thing I can say about it is that I got my money back.

I bought this cable to connect a desktop computer to a monitor. The desktop PC only has DisplayPort and VGA outputs and this cable allows me to connect to the HDMI port on the monitor. My main goal was to play music through the display's speakers, and it's great for that. An added bonus was a significant improvement in the image on the display. Great product, great price! I need this cable to connect my work laptop to a second monitor when I'm working from home. The cable feels very durable and isn't rubberized so you don't have to worry about it breaking and exposing the wires. The cable also came with caps to cover the male ends of the cable.
