Unfortunately, I found that Averr Aglow Radiance Toner was not suitable for my sensitive skin. I'm in my 40's with rosacea responsive, sensitive, acne prone combination skin. If my skin doesn't like something, I get freckles almost immediately in the form of red bumps on the top of my cheeks. It can take several days for these outbreaks to resolve. I had a slight reaction to this toner after the first use. Most of the time, I aim for skincare products that are free of essential oils, fragrances, and dyes. But like everyone else, I love experimenting with new products just to see if they become my next holy grail. Averr Aglow Radiant Complexion Toner is packaged in a plain 4 ounce clear glass bottle. At the time of writing this article, it costs $45, which I think is indicative of a high cost. To use, clean your face and then apply this toner with your hands or a cotton pad (avoid the eye and lip area). You will see from the pictures that the product is mostly clear with black slime settling to the bottom of the bottle. You gently shake the toner before applying it. It stays mixed for a while (does not separate immediately). Surprisingly, the mixed liquid has no particular odor. Once applied to the skin, absorbs quickly. For me, heavy use of citrus essential oils just wasn't right for my needs. However, you may like it and be able to use it. It contains bitter orange, witch hazel, arctic mud extract and various fermented compounds, honeysuckle, grape seed extract, lemon balm, orange peel, coffee, kaolin, rosemary, comfrey etc. All in all a nice looking tonic. Just not the ones I could use.
