I'm probably the only one having trouble installing it. I needed to replace a leaking insinkerator that had damaged my sink cabinet quite a bit so I wanted to use a different brand as reviews show this to be a common problem with Badgers. I had a Badger or Ace equivalent that got stuck. I disassembled it to clear the jam and when I put it back together it was leaking. Even after I took it apart and put it back together. It arrived quickly, was easy to install and seems to work well. However, as you can see from the photos, we have two problems with the flange (the metal ring that sits at the bottom of the sink) that made us give it only 3 stars: First, it is positioned higher than our previous one. WOW! I am very impressed with the Waste King L-111 refuse shredder. My old slide was some kind of generic brand that came with the house. As you can see from the photos below it is in a trash can. First of all I have to thank Waste King for making the slide so easy to install. I actually made the mistake of not applying enough putty around the drain and some water spilled out during the test run, but I was able to quickly remove the slide and reseal the drain within 5 minutes!
