Review on 🗑️ Waste King L-111 Garbage Disposal Recycling Unit with Built-in Power Cord, 1/3 Horsepower by Chris Shields

I'm probably the only one having trouble installing it. I needed to replace a leaking insinkerator that had damaged my sink cabinet quite a bit so I wanted to use a different brand as reviews show this to be a common problem with Badgers. I had trouble installing the rubber pad properly. I thought so, but the metal ring never went down far enough to hook the two prongs at the top of the container. An hour after the third attempt to mount the gasket, I noticed that the metal ring had sunk much further this time. Enough that I can SIMPLY pick it up and rotate it. So if you have the same problem as me, just change the gasket until the metal ring is down far enough that you can see where the pins go. Once I did it was easy. Much quieter than the Insinkerator Badger it replaced and takes up much less space. Very happy with my purchase and now that I know the correct installation method I will not hesitate to purchase another one. So still a 5 star rating but the guide could definitely use some improvement.
