Review on 🗑️ Waste King L-111 Garbage Disposal Recycling Unit with Built-in Power Cord, 1/3 Horsepower by Avery Sharma

I have never installed a garbage chute but as it was the same model I used to hire a plumber to install I read it would be easy to replace - and it is true. Although the manual is large, well-illustrated, and detailed, I was happy to find another buyer's YouTube video that offered important advice that I might otherwise have missed - let it hang and don't try to overdo it to stick. (He said it took him an hour before he figured it out.) It's basically pre-assembled and I was able to leave the previous stainless steel ring in the sink so I could just unscrew the old one and screw on the new one. . The video didn't mention knocking the plug out of the dishwasher when your chute drains through the dishwasher, so I was glad to see that in the instruction manual. I like that the load is connected to the wall so the power doesn't have to be turned off during installation. We've had larger, fancier, and much more expensive disposers, but our plumber taught us this wasn't necessary. He will continue to be our favorite model.
