I tried to connect to three different cigarette lighter sockets - other devices and inverters connect to all three sockets without any problems. This particular cable/charger will not work. No light, no charge, nothing. The connector doesn't seem to have a tip, so maybe it can't connect? That's my guess. Aside from not working, it also feels a bit cheap. The cable is smaller/thinner than expected and light weight. If I had seen and felt this item in store before buying it I would have walked past. It just seems too inferior and cheap to use with an expensive laptop.
