My iPad 8th Gen fits well with the camera and volume in the appropriate slots. No chemical smell as another reviewer mentioned. When used vertically it only fits in the next slot but my last cover only supported it horizontally so I'm still happy. i like the color I can't comment on durability as I just received it today. The color corresponds to the photo in the ad. Edited to add: not very durable as I was hoping. I changed my rating from 5 stars to 2 after a few months due to wear on the corners. One came off within the first two weeks, the second just today. So my iPad only has 2 corners left. I am very disappointed because the 360 function worked fine and is outside the return window. Now I have to find another shell.
