Definitely 5 stars. Every time I buy a Croc Yukon Sport or Yukon Mesa, it's like meeting an old friend. You see, I practically live in the Yukon: kayaking, bicycling, hiking, gardening, knitting, a shooting range, you name it, or shopping or just taking a leisurely stroll around town. In terms of maintenance, little is required other than washing with soap and water in the shower. If you find it necessary, let it air dry and then refresh the skin with a thin layer of mink oil. Mic Oil absorbs into the skin and restores the skin to its original tone/color. This process also protects the leather and prevents dry rot. Since using Yukons I have never seen the skin peel off. However, it turned out that last year's Yukon batch had the rubber layer underneath come loose, but this problem was fixed with glue. I hope this year's batch is of the same quality as previous years. Overall, in my opinion, the Yukon is the best you can find in terms of versatility and utility. Sometimes they seem a bit pricey but I've come to the conclusion that it's worth it. The best part is that you didn't have to apply them by hand. Over the last ten years I've bought and received many different styles of sandals and you know they either sit unused, end up at flea markets or are given away. If you have wide feet, you'll love Crocs. Also, the funny thing about Croc sandals is that they are the ugliest sandals ever, but I urge you to try them because when you buy a pair, something magical happens. In the end, it looks really great and quite stylish. A bit of an ugly baby that only a mother could love. They are also very comfortable and durable. I would highly recommend them and will be purchasing more PRN (medical term as needed).
