I've been playing vinyl on this player for about two weeks now and it works very well. I'll try to remember to update this after actually using the USB cable to write records. The built-in speakers are sufficient for listening to music, so if I just want to listen it's fine. I'm using a J&D Tech 3.5mm to 2 RCA Cable 3.5mm to 2 RCA Cable Gold Plated J&D [Copper Shell] [Heavy Duty] 3.5mm Jack to 2 RCA Male Stereo Audio Adapter Cable - 3 feet so I can hear my Altec Lansing external computer speakers. It plays well and I like the soft landing when you release the lever to lower the needle. It also automatically stops at the bottom of the page, which is a bonus. The built-in speakers could be better, but they are good for the price.
