Lower price. These are slim readers so you can easily overlook them. You don't have to slide them in or take them off when you want to watch TV etc. They don't have spring loops but the arms are very flexible so they're just as comfortable as spring loops. The frame is made of plastic, as are the lenses. An interesting feature is that the end of each lever is covered in a silicone material with lots of tiny ridges. This works really well to keep your glasses from slipping off your nose. They stay down. I usually wear Calabria 718 Flexie reading glasses which I really like but they are taking a while to arrive. They are very similar, although the frame is not as premium in my opinion. However, I got two pairs of Calabria Flexies for less than the price of a pair of Calabria Flexies and they are amazingly similar. The only thing I would like is that they are in more colors. As an older woman I find lighter frames suit me better and I usually wear dark pink frames. Otherwise I'm very happy with it.
