Review on Broadway BW845 270Mm Convex Mirror by Steven Asthana

Locks GM reading light switch. Shines brighter than the factory mirror

The image seems brighter than the factory mirror. The field of view is huge. I can also see through the side windows. The clamping mechanism has one fixed side and the other side is extended under tension by a strong internal spring. It can be installed with spring loaded arms up or down. Both clamping lever sets are arranged at the same distance from each other. Pay attention to the photos in the Revain description. Even with the clamp arms down, they block the reading light switches on my 1995 Camaro and 2000 Corvette, so I moved the block to my 2000 Dodge Dakota. When the spring-loaded clamp arms are "up," the mirror itself blocks the GM switches. If the spring side of the clamp mechanism was spaced 2 inches further I could control the reading light switches on the GM rear view mirror. The Broadway mirror is blocking my Dakota's dimmer switch, but I no longer need access to that switch.

Pros
  • Sample for a year
Cons
  • Overall OK, but...
