I chose them to put in the hallway to store my tools and various objects that I do not want to mix with what my c/o keeps his things and they are precisely! I knew they wouldn't be able to accommodate all of my heavy dishes and I was fine with that. I love their narrow width - just right for my small space. The shelves can support up to 44 pounds each, and I had no problem placing my personal tools, craft supplies, and other small items on them. These shelves were very easy to put together with very detailed instructions. My assistant has several larger blocks like this and warned me about possible mistakes, but it wasn't difficult to assemble them myself. The shelves attach securely to plastic tabs and stay in place, additional tabs are provided, shelf placement is adjustable and there are even fasteners to attach the shelves to the wall if desired. I love that they have plastic mats to place on any shelf - don't worry about small items falling through bars or snagging on bag handles, and they're easy to clean when needed. The product description says no tools are required, but the instructions say a hammer with a towel or something to pound the shelves in place. Personally, I'd recommend using a percussion so every hole in the shelf is attached to the plastic tabs for security. These shelves meet all my needs, they are easy to set up, they have already helped me organize and they still have space.
