My 5 year old son who just started kindergarten loves these masks more than anything we've bought (almost every shape/size). He calls it his "ninja mask" and is an added incentive to wear it. It's very comfortable, not too tight but still keeps germs out. I like that he can put it around his neck when tearing the mask/when not wearing it so it doesn't get lost and fall on the floor. The bright colors are attractive and the material is dense, even without a filter. The extra filter pockets are very nice, but as you'd expect, a kindergartener doesn't always dress that part right up to the mouth. We bought another Gheytor style face mask and it is MUCH better in comfort and material strength. Even if the filter is not directly in front of my mouth, I still feel better protected than others.
